Yes! Yes I did it! I didn't fall off, I posted this on MONDAY like I said! Yay!

So back to the comic. Fun bonus thing: the two earth ponies playing polo are inspired from a series (the unicorn wasn't.) If you can guess which characters inspired their design, I'll give you a free pencil sketch! Here's a hint: the characters come from a current, long-running series that still uses an older style. First one to get it in the comments get the sketch!

Painting isn't like drawing with a pencil. Even humans have to learn the different techniques of holding a brush. In general, you tend to hold the brush at the end of the handle, instead of at the near the bristles itself. You even place it in in your palm differently depending on the stage the painting is at. For an earth pony, unless you tape the brush to your hoof, I don't see painting happening without the brush in your mouth
